Other cultures have a lot to offer that’s valuable to us. I fell in love with Japan, and I can share my knowledge with you.
About meSince 1992, I’ve been teaching the Japanese language and Japan-related subjects at the Institute of Asian and Transcultural Studies of Vilnius University. It has gained me the status of one of the first Japanese Studies specialists in Lithuania, which later led to becoming an Associate Professor in Asian Studies. My primary academic interests focus on classical Japanese and Chinese literature, history of Japan, Japanese classical theater, Pacific cultures, linguistics, language teaching, and translations.

It has always been my dream to backpack uncivilized places, so I’m curious to hear your expedition experiences or stories with indigenous people:)
