About me
Ričardas – the founder and owner of PrestaRock– holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Kaunas University of Technology. In 2008, I started my career as a freelance programmer after taking up blogging a year earlier. In 2012-2014, I worked with the first Platinum Certified US-based PrestaShop agency which helped improve my PrestaShop and e-commerce knowledge. Later on, I advanced my career by working with the largest Lithuanian projects and e-commerce stores built on the PrestaShop platform. Having a decade-long experience with the PrestaShop platform under my belt, I have a clear understanding of high code quality and a firm belief that the best results in e-commerce are generated by metrics-based decisions. I am not only the CEO of my own agency that builds and maintains one-of-a-kind e-stores, I am also a hands-on project manager responsible for assessing the needs of the client, clarifying the specification, setting project milestones and delivering the final product. I use my logical thinking and coding skills, and the knowledge obtained during my undergrad and graduate studies in Computer Science to set up and optimize processes that make workflow smoother. My skillset is complemented by creative writing which I polished by blogging and writing articles for many years. This helps me to apply outside-the-box solutions when approaching and solving complex issues.
