Yeah, though i would say mobile face up or down and sound on/off makes a big difference. Sound off, face down and untouched during a meeting is a clear message that the meeting is more important. Not that I am always on my best behavior on this score.... :(

Agree. With the exception that some people like me have such bad handwriting that typed is better. But I usually specifically say that I am typing notes, so it does not seem rude
