‘The keyboard will be gone in five years’ Since my prediction one year ago, many things happened in the voice and audio first world. The next months will reveal many more exciting things. Some thoughts here https://www.yannickoswald.com/post/will-i-ever-have-to-scroll-much-again
Will I ever have to scroll much again?

I think both keyboard and voice are generally slow communication channels between human being and a device. Voice is even slower, however can be used over a distance. What do you think of Brain Link, which would literally connect human brain with a device, removing for a need of a communication interface at all. That would be a real revolution.

IMHO while voice has a way higher bandwidth then keyboard, it sacrifices privacy aspect especially in public places. You probably don’t want to be shouting your dinner request for your loved one or your medical condition, or how much money you want to send someone, while being on train and have fellow passengers hear everything.

Justas as I understand - both keyboard and voice actually are brain links. They link your brain via muscles in your vocal tract or fingers to the device you want the information in. As for the prediction Yannick made - typing is around 3 times slower than voice. Link to the study: https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/3161187

Honestly, after reading this insight and your article on the topic, I started using voice assistant Bixby for the first time, which came with my phone. I can't stress enough how tired I am from using the screen and typing for hours all day long, however, voice features are still far from perfection. Nonetheless, it is so exciting to hear we are moving steadily towards that direction!

ne visai visas, rašo kelios “will be turned into experience centers”. tuo tarpu kampanija "Today at Apple" Brings New Experiences to Every Apple Store, vis dar 500+ parduotuvių. brand’ai kaip Rei, Vans, Chanel keičia fizinių parduotuvių koncepcijas, o pvz TOMS’ 100e pardavimo taškų sustatė VR headsets, kad galėtų “virtually transport customers to Peru to see the impact of their One for One giving campaign on local people.” Tad aišku, dalis užsidarys, dalis persiformuos.

I love Waze App. It beats my ‘I know better’ belief every single time. So supermarket Lidl decided to apply the idea of ‘checking the traffic’ to their stores. Launching WhatsApp chatbot to help consumers find the best time to do their grocery shopping using transaction numbers & real-time data. The timing for this couldn’t have been better. https://bit.ly/3g5rMHx
