Philosopher with an interest in ethics
Vilnius, Lithuania
After receiving a masters degree in Philosophy from KU Leuven in Belgium, later complementing it with a Ph.D. on irony and ethics (in Søren Kierkegaard's thought), I've went on to teach philosophy for ten years at a variety of Lithuanian universities as well as served as an advisor to the Lithuanian Minister of Culture. Aside from my professional path in academia and public sector, I've also had a stimulating career in PR at agencies, such as Y&R and VRS Group. Currently, I'm the founding director of Emmanuel Levinas Center in Kaunas, which is devoted to the thought and legacy of the French philosopher (who was Kaunas-born as well, for that matter).
