Having spent almost two decades in the world of business, I can boast of one, extremely successful startup - YPlan - acquired by Time Out in 2016, an MBA with distinction from HBS as well as numerous well-thought investments, contributing to a noticeable growth of some exceptional companies. Currently I'm a partner at Target Global, which focuses on the backing up promising early growth stage startups.
WHAT'S IT LIKE TO STUDY AT HARVARD
Having acquired a bachelor's degree with distinction from Jacobs University Bremen, I've enrolled on an MBA course at Harvard Business School and managed to graduate with distinction, being the youngest student in class. If you're curious what it's like to do so - I'd gladly share my experience!
YOUTH MENTORSHIP PROJECTS
Starting a business in my teenage years myself and having had the pleasure of being led by some truly remarkable people in my lifetime, I felt an intrinsic need to guide and advice similarly highly motivated youngsters myself. That is exactly why I was the pioneer of a now thriving one and only voluntary professional mentorship program for Lithuanians all over the world - LT Big Brother.
FOUNDING, GROWING & SCALING YPLAN
Prior to joining Target Global, I was the co-founder and CEO of YPlan, the world's first mobile-only event booking app that evolved into a comprehensive event discovery and booking platform, backed up by a variety of noteworthy VC firms and invididuals, such as: Amex and Ashton Kutcher, among others. I will gladly share my 5 year experience (successes and failures included) of growing YPlan into what it is today.
Before YPlan, I was the Vice President at a growth equity fund Summit Partners. Not only did I aided in sourcing and co-leading investments with various multi-billion $ business companies, but I also became an angel investor and advisor myself later on, supporting founders of innovative startups, including Trafi, City Pantry, Roli, Student.com and others.
