There is no need to make so much effort to prepare precious and lovely things to eat. Just ask yourself what do you want to eat? Even in all works, if you like your works, you can create beauty. Basic potato omelette, tomatoes, olives, cheese, bluberry jam and bread. Just listen to your appetite and use your imagination!
I was born in a big family which is extremely good interaction with relatives in the countryside of Turkey. I and my family members always gathering for talking and listening to each other, traveling and having a wonderful time in our amazing natural environment of my hometown. Now I realized that there is one common thing that brings us together. There had to be a great, valid and valuable reason to meet. Somehow, when my elders would like to meet, they always appoint a place for eating. So, food has the power of integrative element to make people together. That's the reason why I opened a food blog on Instagram (@naturaltouch_dogaldokun).
I always feel cool when I meet with people and talk with them on how to live our life better. To do that, food is a nice and valuable reason to gather. We need time to listen and understand each other. Food is not an instant activity. In fact, we have time to fill our stomachs and tell our stories to each other to feed our souls with new experiences. Transformation is the new normal! For many this urge to transform comes from a fear of being disrupted by what Salim Ismail calls 'exponential organizations.' Think of Uber, Airbnb, Waze, Netflix, Tesla, Alibaba...
In other words, those are the organizations whose impact is disproportionally large compared to its peers because of the use of new organizational techniques that leverage accelerating technologies.
These are my few takeaways which could inspire legacy companies:
- Make sure you have a MTP (massive transformative purpose) which is not a traditional mission statement, but rather a higher aspirational purpose of your organization.
- While data is indeed the new gold, make sure your organization focus is on extracting insights which solve your business problems.
- Build an organizational culture where people have autonomy to propose new ideas and experiment without fear of failure.
