I hold an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and have 13 years’ experience as a development economist and project manager. I started my career in 2008 as a junior development economist and have since been involved in a diverse range of projects across KZN and South Africa. Through these projects, I have developed a variety of skills including socio-economic research, strategic and business planning, economic and value chain analysis, policy and strategy development, stakeholder engagement and facilitation, market demand and feasibility assessments, and project management. I have experience within the cultural and creative industries, informal sector, property development sector, and green economy sector, within both the urban and rural development context.
I combine my professional experience with my passions for music, culture, sports and the environment to provide sustainable social and economic development solutions that are people-centred and aimed at enhancing social cohesion.
