Brooks Brothers is a piece of history in fashion. Now is in troubles and that's too bad. We have to rediscover the pleasure to wear a shirt whose brand dressed almost every president of the USA. Get rid of your worn-out t-shirts and wear a Shirt!

Winter is coming! It's time for a pullover! A versatile, warm and elegant garment that you must have in your wardrobe. When it's not so cold, maybe in autumn, you can wear it just over your shirt. In winter, put it under a jacket, add a warm overcoat and you will be just fine! You want to dare? Try a pullover under your suit to be elegant and original.
Choose tenuous colours if you are a beginner, like blue or gray that match easily with almost everything else.
Remember: Buy only 100% WOOL pullovers (to lower the price you can look for wool blend, but never go under 70% wool) and AVOID SYNTHETIC fabrics because they are not so warm, not so elegant and they will make you smell bad. Prefer Cashmere if you can afford it; the rule is always the same: buy the best you can afford.
Thicker pullover, like Aran sweaters (I love them!), are more casual and suitable for outdoor activities or to be worn with sport coats. Thinner ones fit perfectly under the jacket and they are more formal, especially in solid colours.
Crew-neck? V-neck? Turtle-neck? For a first purchase I would go with solid coloured gray crew-neck, there will be time to explore and be bold!
Trust me, you will never forget the warmth and softness of a good wool pullover.

Shoes are the more important part of a man's outfit. Covering less than 10% of the body, they play a crucial role in the success of an outfit. When talking of shoes, leather should immediately come to mind but what kind of shoe should choose a beginner? There are so many models and types of leather and, of course, colours!
Just keep calm and start your search with the word DERBY. Not Oxford, not mocassini (there will be time for them). Just Derby.
Assuming that you are looking for a shoe that: - you can wear with almost everything you have in your wardrobe;
- you want to wear in casual and informal situations (because you already have your dress shoes, right? 😉)
- will stand the test of time, ensuring you many years of delicious walks;
Go with DARK BROWN CALF LEATHER. For the sole I prefer rubber which I find more versatile than leather.
Never forget that you are putting your feet inside them so don't look for cheap shoes because they will break soon and won't be so comfortable.
Just BUY THE BEST YOU CAN AFFORD.
Don't spend too much money if you have limited resources, try to find discounts or look for another pair that is cheaper.
The model in the pictures is made by Crockett and Jones and they are quite expensive. I would start with this kind of shoe if I should build a whole new wardrobe.
