ABOUT ME
My PASSION and PERSONAL MISSION is engraved in my name - Lina LINKeviciute.

Every day I LINK people, organisations, companies, countries, and seemingly unrelated dots.

All these connections naturally result in WOW moments.

The more WOW moments I generate for others, the more people feel inspired and full of new:
ideas,
concepts,
perceptions,
thoughts,
beliefs,
views,
intentions,
reasons,
plans,
solutions,
suggestions,
recommendations,
and conclusions.

Having started and first pursued my career as a Theatre Director, 10 years later I became a Mind Mapping trainer.

I hold an MBA in Luxury Marketing (Paris) and have more than 8 years of experience working in sales and marketing for various luxury fashion, jewelry, and cosmetics brands.

Over the last 4 years I have been running an art business called Timeless Paintings. Having missed my parents profoundly while living far away, I ordered an oil painting based on a family photo.
THAT WAS A TURNING POINT.
This experience and the piece of art brought a huge change not only to my home, but also to the relationship with my parents.

Lina Linkeviciute on How To Provoke Renaissance In Your Activity ?Theatre Director [email protected] Paintings/Luxury Business Professional3 days ago
If you want to revive, renew and reinvent your activity wouldn’t it be handy to have an INNOVATION MANAGER? Just as even the most expert surgeon can’t operate on himself, you need someone with an outside perspective. A fresh pair of eyes and new brain can work wonders. By giving the doctor your trust and complete information, you’re on the way to being cured. Every case is different, and you need not only deep experience of different kinds of innovation techniques, but also be able to gauge how it will impact your specific organization. What kind of person becomes an INNOVATION MANAGER? Usually they are generalists rather than specialists. These people can fit for so many different positions because they bring a wide-angle lens to a problem that a normal employee would just bring a close up view for. The best example is the main character from a TV series “Pretender”, Jarod who can quickly master complex skill sets to successfully impersonate any profession. It sounds unbelievable but these kinds of people really exist and can create huge benefits for those who are looking for effective innovations. How does an INNOVATION MANAGER Operate? Studies indicate that our ability to think creatively comes one-third from genetics; but two-thirds of the innovation skill set comes through LEARNING and UNDERSTANDING different skills then PRACTICING, EXPERIMENTING and at the end ASSOCIATING them. So, an INNOVATION MANAGER will come to your “home” – company, he is going to to observe everything like an anthropologist or social scientist. He carefully looks for small behavioral details—in the activities of customers, suppliers, and even cleaning ladies of your office—in order to gain insights about new ways of doing things. Then he is going to talk to as many team members as possible, including an engineer, a stay-at-home dad, and a designer to identify what kind of innovation could benefit your business or organization. The most important role of INNOVATION MANAGER is to find THE RIGHT QUESTIONS. Is it a new team? Is it a management technique? Is it a product? Is it service offer? Is it a marketing campaign? Is it a communication campaign? Is it long-term vision? Is it turnover? Is it a leadership skill? Is it the atmosphere? Is it meaning of work? Is it the engineers? Is it the front-line workers? Is it the office? Is it the motivation? Is it the general mood? Is it clients service? Is it proceeding? Is it logistics? What is it? And after: ‘If we did this, what would happen?’” Bringing all the team together, mixing them with new professionals from outside, asking to imagine a completely different alternative can lead to truly original insights. In these ways INNOVATION MANAGER will find the ANSWERS together with the team and will develop the creative spark in everyone. The best historical example is the “Medici effect,” referring to the creative explosion in Florence when the Medici family as “INNOVATION MANAGER” of that time brought together people from a wide range of disciplines—sculptors, scientists, poets, philosophers, painters, and architects. As these individuals connected, new ideas blossomed at the intersections of their respective fields, thereby spawning the Renaissance, one of the most inventive eras in history. If you want a Renaissance in your business – just reserve a call :)

Lina Linkeviciute on Building Your StoryTheatre Director [email protected] Paintings/Luxury Business Professional17 days ago
The Story About The Old and Creative Man Once upon a time, there was a young man, who couldn’t believe in his creative capacities. One day he met an old man and asked him “Can I become more creative, if I am not gifted?” The old man explained, “If you have a brain, you are creative. Anyone can choose to develop this skill. “ The young man asked again, but "I understand your point, many people have some small inspirations but so few make something big enough to change the world. Why do so many people choose the same life day after day, doing their tasks if they have creativity within them? The old man smiled: "Creativity is the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions. Creativity involves two processes: THINKING, then PRODUCING. If you have ideas but don’t act on them, you are imaginative but not creative. The young man got very interested and continued asking, "But in so many parts of life we have no freedom and have to follow orders and produce results as expected. For example, if we are not technology geniuses, how can we be creative in business? The old man whispered: You are creative in business when you connect dots which are meaningful to people. For example: Looking for friends + Sharing life experiences + Social media = you get Facebook Cheap + Clothes + Social media = you get Vinted Knowledge + Sharing + Social media = you get Qoorio The young man was absolutely inspired and shouted excitedly, "How can I become more creative?" The old man answered: You should spent a lifetime exploring new and unrelated things. You should collect as many new experiences and knowledge as you can in order to master association. You can’t connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever…. What did the old man have in his mind?

The old man think of creating a better generation of people who are better then before, by collecting all data, in one place and let them learning from there. We may not have the expertise, but others do have, So we just have to connect the dots, have problem, solve problem, and not create it. Life is short, by the time you know it's already few years.
