Another point on Health Consumers behavior. "So forget “cancer” and “death” and other buzzwords. Start mentioning sorrowful life behind the diagnosis. Stress the personal misery coming either from physical or from psychological perspective — It could be the fear of losing the ability to talk, or inability to visit your daughter on her birthday." My opinion about tapping into reptilian brain of health consumers and why it matters. Besides all the benefits that different digital healthcare solutions bring - this power of behavioral change is what unites all of them and gives them opportunity to fundamentally reshape the health of future population.

Monika Kuzminskaitė on Food & Eating PsychologyHealth psychologist, with special love for food and eating mattersSome time ago
How did quarantine measures affect food choices and purchases among Italians? We usually think of Italians having high regard for their food, and quarantine changed food accessibility quite radically... Survey was done in May 2020. Results show that people bought and consumed more food, food waste decreased, and impulse buying decreased two times. People bought more baking ingredients, fresh fruits and vegetables as well as chocolate, less baked products, fresh fish and salty snacks. Increased food purchase was more related to impulse buying when people did work. Impulsive food purchase was more often related to lower dietary quality and more frequent food waste. People who wasted food less frequently assessed their diet as of higher quality and also were happier with their overall state of health. Well, quarantine made a really good impact for Italian eating habits. I wonder what did it do to us?
