Humanitarian aid worker, passionate for human rights and secretly a poet
Lithuania

My job description says - I am a humanitarian aid worker, but often I am just an observer, as all of us, of human strength and resilience. With my work, I aim to encourage, empower and build that resilience of people who live in conflict, war and post war situations.

I am convinced that often it's all about knowing that you are not alone and that in any situation somebody will be there for you. It is about joint action, about united voice and believing that all together we can bring about the change.

This brought me to work on Palestinian right to water in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, people's access to basic health services in Afghanistan and Sierra Leone, and finally advocating against using hunger as a weapon of war in Yemen
