What’s the next big thing for Qoorio?
That is the question I was discussing with one of my colleagues yesterday.
We initially started with a simple app that allows people to buy & sell their knowledge. It worked partially because only a few people were receiving requests for their knowledge from strangers.
Today we are moving to a much more sophisticated product, our current big bet. Instead of being a simple knowledge trading app, we are becoming a human to human learning network. We are adding features so people can express their thoughts and stories through the app and learn from and about each other by reading those stories. And if they want to go deeper, they can do that by arranging a 1:1 talk. I feel this is huge. Recently I tried the old version of Qoorio and then a current one - and, indeed, the current one is more alive, more human, more interesting. Very qoorious to see what will be the impact once we finish the transformation.
However, our journey will not be finished, and we will need to keep innovating and to come up with a bet on the next big thing. What is that thing?
We don’t know yet. However, we are looking at one particular element of Qoorio experience. As we are creating tools for people to express their stories through insights, we see some people already are engaged in it. However, we feel that many people struggle to create & share their insights. Why? They say they don’t know what to write or think they have nothing to say. On the other hand, every human being is an endless book, and everyone has endless things to say. How to open that book?
I can relate to people who don’t know what to write on Qoorio, and I haven’t shared anything meaningful for about a week. Is it true that I have nothing to share? We are building Qoorio, so many things are happening every day, and for sure, there should be something to share.
I have a topic ‘Building Qoorio’ on my profile. So far, it has only two insights, nonetheless, we are building it for 1.5+ years. I could use this topic and just document my thoughts every few days. Just like I am doing it now.
I also noticed one person has created a topic ‘My startup journey’ and has shared his thoughts on his journey. That was lovely. My colleague said that he will create a topic ‘Boating’ and will document his journey from never boating to having a boat license and boating many times. I would read that with pleasure.
Does authentic storytelling, documenting & sharing your thoughts, journey, events can be an answer to the question of what to share on Qoorio? I don’t know yet, qoorious to learn what do you think about it?
“When one disciplines asked the Buddha how one can be happy, when all the living are suffering, the Buddha replied: “Imagine that you are walking through a forest and you see a hole in which two people are fallen. You won’t jump into the pit third to suffer with them, will you? Instead, like a reasonable person, you will find a long stick, drop it into the hole, and help them out. You don’t have to suffer together to help” Jambon Kongtrul Rinpoche.
Today I am celebrating 100 admirers here on Qoorio!
I can tell you, this is quite something to celebrate!!! It took me one year to be very active here!!
It is a great platform, Thank you, Qoorio Team!!!!
Also, the Biggest Thank goes to all my admirers, and specially who already booked a call and who continue to admire all my insights!
Not all of you asked for a consultation but that’s my goal !!!
Actually, here on Qoorio there are so many incredible professionals, but the BIGGEST PROBLEM that the majority don’t know how TO PICK UP THE MOST INTERESTING QUESTION FROM THEIR FIELD IN ORDER TO BRING VALUE FOR OTHER USERS !!!!
Recently I was happy to help Agnė Nainyte to pick up one of the most interesting question from her professional practice and after a week she got her first “client”.
So I decided to help more Qoorio people !!!
I take few examples to comment.
Now I think about great specialist Monika Kuzminskaité who already wrote 151 extremely interesting insights and there is no one who made a request!!!! I see clearly how I can help to change it.
Or another great specialist Marius Rimaitis – to be a doctor is just incredible experience!!! Every day you are confronted to so many problems and responsibilities. I can imagine that there are so many things to share, to teach and to give great tips to everyone. But the great questions should be find!!
I can admit that I have a super capacity because I can understand what can be interesting from any field to the audience who are coming from another field.
Understanding and translating between different types of people, “languages,” modes of thought this is one of my super powers.
So don’t hesitate to make your first request ;)
Minimal logo doesn’t mean only minimal style in visual part, but also in function. In these times to create such a big brand like Apple, Nike or Mastercard it’s near the edge of impossible. But by creating consistency in visual identity between the logo and its graphic language can make the logo symbol more recognisable without a wordmark. Funny fact, is that the first Shell logo was created in 1909 and it was used only as a shell symbol without a wordmark.
One of the main things about creating live and dynamic brand is consistency and connection between logo and graphic language. Following this process many things can appear: from recognasibility to avoiding big finances for advertising materials. Curious about more benefits? For example - one of my works, that was done with Imagine studio - visual identity for the largest in the Baltic region eyeglass lenses manufacturers.
