Everyone is looking for something, but not everyone is ready to do something, work hard to get it. There is a formula of 10-80-10: 10% is the elite, those who are willing to work hard for their dreams; 80% is the mediocre, who like the status quo; 10% are losers for whom everything is bad. When working with people, spend 80% of your time on 10% of the elite, and 20% of the time on 80% of the mediocre people, because times change and there will be those who want to move to that 10% of the elite.

Before I begin studding leadership, I was in business about 15 years. All this years I was fully involved in all areas of my business. I knew everything about what my employees do. I felt stress and cannot relax, because I was warring about my business, I was control everything and everyone. I wanted that my business grow. I was not exactly trust to my employees, because I thought that they are not the same interested in growing my business as I am. In the other hand, I saw other companies where everything was opposite. I decided to find out why. Leadership was an answer! I understood that leadership is not about me. It is not about my own accomplishments. Leadership is built by serving other people, by helping then to grow. As a leader you don’t need to have answers to all questions, you don’t need to be ideal. You have to have right people in right places. You have to learn how to find leaders in your team, teach them and show them how to be a leader.

As a leader you always have to know, that leadership is not about perfection, it‘s about example. Add to your daily vocabulary these 10 positive phrases and use then everyday: • I'm sorry! • I'm wrong! • You can do it! • I believe in you! • I'm proud of you! • Thank you! • I need you! • I trust you! • I respect you! • I love you!

You must separate “Who you are” with “What you do”. Leadership it is not about you. It is that, what you can give for other people. People want from you three things: 1. Love them; 2. Show them hope; 3. Believe in them.
