I’m a 22 year old music producer, and audio engineer based out of East Lansing, MI. I started creating original music at the age of 13 and continue to make tracks every single day focusing mainly on Hip-Hop.

I was awarded the John Philip Sousa award for Music in 2016, and hope to be on the Billboard in 2020.

I create all types of music, from EDM to Jazz, Classical to Hip-Hop.

I also currently manage submissions for a large YouTube music related MCN (multi-channel-network).

Getting Past Creative Blocks

These blocks are something I struggled with. I used to have creative peaks & valleys where I would be very productive in producing music, and other times where I wasn’t “able” to produce anything . Surround yourself with creatives, collaborate with them, and apply new theories. You’ll be amazed.

The Importance of Collaboration

In any creative endeavor, collaboration can be a great way to broaden your horizon, and even get over creative blocks. Working with others in your creative field helps to teach you new and amazing techniques to apply to your own craft and can even completely change the way you approach your art.

How To Finish Your Songs

This was a big hurdle for me to get over as a music producer. I’d start a track, get half way through and then get bored and move on. Sound familiar? That’s fine, because there are a plethora of ways to start finishing your tracks. The important factors are self discipline, and the mindset you have.

Dealing w/ Rejection For Creatives

Rejection is something every great creative has faced in their life. From the Beatles, to Michael Jackson, all amazing artists have been rejected. The most important thing is how you deal with it. Do you let it hold you up? Or will you put your energy into learning how to succeed?
