Is Forex essentially gambling?
In my opinion, Forex is NOT exactly gambling because there is a lot of difference between Forex and gambling.
1. In Forex, you can make a lot of predictions based on the news and the past history, but you can’t even do that in gambling.
2. I haven’t seen anyone make a living from gambling but I do see people make a living consistently from trading Forex.
But nowadays people especially the elderly treat Forex as gambling and trade without a plan. It is their fault. This is because trading is not merely about sell or buy, it requires a lot of training, discipline, patience, and experiences as well.

✔ Sustainability
It's a wonderful investment as many are much sounder in constructing than any modern pieces of pressed wood or chipboard.
✔ Think form and fuction.
You certainly don't want the item neither to take up the whole space, nor to fall out of your current design.
✔ Do research.
Some can be rear collectables and some are just beautiful, so research a bit.
✔ Pay attention to the details.
Refinishing is more expensive than a simple good cleaning.
✔ Negotiate.
Don't hesitate asking the clerk about discounts. Many shops apply further reduces in price to the unsold items.
✔ Love.
Just like every other person or thing, it requires love and care. Moreover, if you treat it like a treasure, it won't decrease in value.
Not to mention, if you look further, vintage furniture can range between mid century modern, Art Deco and classical furniture pieces.
