Everyone in my family is very ambitious, so from the early childhood I was encouraged to seek more and explore all the possibilities. Becoming the leader of the communication agency was a new challenge in my professional life. A really ambitious one – everything was new and most importantly I had to kick myself out of the comfort zone. And for me it was very tempting. I had a clear vision how the communication agency should look like.
First of all, I wanted to create a friendly environment where every employee could grow professionally. Also, being a long-time client myself, I wanted to correspond to the needs of our clients. However, we all agreed that human being is the core of our strategy. Therefore, in every situation, first of all, we choose to be human.
So leadership without ambition and humanity just won’t work. 💫
My dear friend asked me how do I empower my team.🤔 The endless enthusiasm and goal seeking caught her attention - my Berta&Team is really 💯extraordinary!
My answer was simple:
✅ internal communication - since my first day as a leader, I shared everything with them - good and bad news
✅ horizontal leadership - I implemented my vision of equal partnership - we are all equal and have the same one strong vote
✅ open door policy - I am available to everyone all the time
✅ I respect everyone - every opinion matters.
Simple as that! Humancentrism works! 💫

“Every single day we have just gotten up in the morning and focused on building an experience around women, for women,” Bumble founder and CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd told last Thursday morning when making the history of being the youngest woman to take her company public via Nasdaq. “When women are safe and happy, everyone else follows and it creates a better relationship for everyone.”
Bumble not only made history in the dating world for its female-focused algorithm that defies traditional gender norms and puts women in a position of power. But it also expanded the concept of women leadership - it begins with CEO and extends to the company’s board of directors and investors.
And last but definitely not least - it is important to embrace your words with actions - and this is what Whitney Wolfe Herd does by ringing the opening bell from Bumble’s offices in Austin with her 1-year-old son by her side.
This what leadership looks like. 💫

Before I begin studding leadership, I was in business about 15 years. All this years I was fully involved in all areas of my business. I knew everything about what my employees do. I felt stress and cannot relax, because I was warring about my business, I was control everything and everyone. I wanted that my business grow. I was not exactly trust to my employees, because I thought that they are not the same interested in growing my business as I am. In the other hand, I saw other companies where everything was opposite. I decided to find out why. Leadership was an answer! I understood that leadership is not about me. It is not about my own accomplishments. Leadership is built by serving other people, by helping then to grow. As a leader you don’t need to have answers to all questions, you don’t need to be ideal. You have to have right people in right places. You have to learn how to find leaders in your team, teach them and show them how to be a leader.
