Austėja Šim on Let's talk TOXIC RELATIONSHIPSAlchemist | Survivor | Content Creator | Tarot Reader | Solo TravelerSome time ago
A month ago, I shared my first video on abusive relationships on YouTube. After nearly a year of contemplating and planning, I gathered the courage to speak out about domestic violence, which is, despite being painfully important, a rarely discussed and highly stigmatized topic in Lithuania. I was absolutely overwhelmed with the response and didn't even expect that people would begin sharing their experiences, too, whether in the comment section or private messages, which made me realize that this is important not only to me but also on a larger scale. I am planning to post more videos, digging deeper into the topic of toxic/abusive/narcissistic relationships - hopefully starting October I will be able to do it more regularly. I intentionally chose to make these videos in my native language since there's barely any information on these topics in Lithuanian, but I also thought Qoorio would be a very suitable place to share my findings, videos, insights or knowledge in English. :) Anyway, I kindly invite you to spare 20 minutes of your day to watch this video, and, if you feel like someone might benefit from watching it, don't be shy and share it! And of course, if you find it useful, don't forget to like and subscribe ☺️ Much love❤️ https://youtu.be/hU1Fb7m0EBw

It's a greatly sensitive topic in this country. And people hold this pain, it's obvious. The emotions are real but there is almost nobody to share them with. But there's you. Kindly helping others. ❤️

Working at Qoorio since August has been one of the most enriching experiences of my life. 🌞 I love being a part of this team, working with different projects, constantly learning new things... But that's not all. 🌞 I just believe in Qoorio with every cell in my body. Every meeting that I had personally with other people using this platform has been very impactful to me. Talking to people, conversing about different topics always makes me believe in this idea even more - we learn from people, we learn from eachother. 🌞 I encourage you to meet atleast one person outside of your social circle atleast once a month. Believe me, magic will happen. 🌞 Below, you'll see our CEOs Justas' Janauskas' profile and a part of his bio where he talks about Qoorio. And who can better pitch an idea than the co-founder himself :)

What is your attachment style? Secure attachment: you’re mostly comfortable opening up and getting close to people. You’re also OK on your own and don’t feel like you need to be with someone just to be with them. Anxious attachment: you’re often worried about your relationship and seek reassurance and affection to counter that worry. You’ve probably found yourself in at least a few toxic relationships and even one sided ones. Avoidant: getting close to people either freaks you out or causes you to push them away somehow. Relationships are good for a while, but you tend to lose interest easily. Anxious-avoidant: you seek out love and affection only to push it away once you get it. You oscillate between being alone and miserable to being in toxic/abusive relationships.
