Paulius Staniūnas on PhotographyBest Nightlife Photographer in Malaysia, Founder of All is Amazing
Never underestimate the power of the diversification of your skills and business. Always try to see beyond your usual skill set, how it can be applied in different situations and can serve clients for the better. I’ll give you an example. My All Is Amazing brand venture. It’s a photography and videography company or as I call it - visual story telling brand. But, among the various types of photography my team and I do, I have diversified our skills to events, weddings and commercial branches. It helps me target specific clients easier, attract photographers with different skillsets and diversify business income sources. Oh yes, here is the photo from the recent H&M campaign for South East Asia, that All Is Amazing team did in Sumba island, Indonesia. Guess under which branch of business this creative assignment goes? ;) #allisamazing

Neringa - Curonian spit is a very precious place for all Lithuanians. Most of us explore nature of the national park and enjoy sun and sea, however there is also a special architectural heritage to be appreciated. From cute wooden houses to experimental modernist buildings with this architectural guide to could have a lot of fun this summer. #discoverbooks

Agne Nainyte on Crash course on LEANDigital Transformation | Process Excellence | Women Empowerment
Government institutions are rarely mentioned among best practice examples of successful transformations. But this one beats them all! In the early 90’s New York was known as a dangerous city full of drug traffickers, murderers and various crimes. The police staff were underpaid and overall staff engagement was low. The story’s hero William Bratton was appointed as a police commissioner in 1994 and in less than two years he turned the city into one of the safest big cities in USA! What did Mr. Bratton do to achieve such results? 📌Let leaders face operational challenges by themselves instead on solely showing the numbers. In LEAN we would call it go to gemba. 📌Limited resources to achieve ambitious plans is a well known reality. Instead of staying in a "Pity island", Bratton reallocated his resources in a smarter way. Instead of equal distribution, he placed the officers in places with the most impact. 📌In order to touch PEOPLE with a new transformation strategy, Bratton identified kingpins and put them on a spot light during bi-weekly meetings. 📌Politics! They happen everywhere and you cannot avoid it, but you can learn how to manage it. Early on identify your supporters and "devils" and prepare well articulated arguments. https://hbr.org/2003/04/tipping-point-leadership
