I’ve been backward running for about two weeks now and can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve discovered.
What is backward running?
Backward running is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a fun and interesting way to keep fit while turning heads in your area. Backward running exercises a different range of muscles in your legs and also your upper body, as you’ll need to twist to see the direction in which you’re running.
The key is to twist your body one side and then the other to work your laterals.
Speed will come. When you start, don’t expect to be able to go at full pace right away. But by about the seventh or eighth run you should be able to go almost as fast as you would forwards.
With more and more people backwards running, pretty soon we can push for it to be included as an international athletic event

There are basically two ways to find a solution to any problem:
1. Ponder, deliberate, discuss and evaluate
2. Take a break
My best ideas came to me either when running or on vacation.
This time I'm coming back from Finland with a few rearranged priorities and new solutions.
And I gave it zero thought. The ideas just pop up!
It's weird how NOT working may sometimes be the best work you can do.
Material stuff will not make us as happy as we thought it would, nor will marriage (on the long-run). Humans are very bad at identifying what will make them happy.
On the other hand, something that will work is gratefulness, random acts of kindness, or making new social connections.
It happens often that our minds' strongest intuitions are wrong, so we will follow an idea and realise after that it didn't have as much impact as we thought it would. These bias are very common but once you know they exist, you can avoid them
