I think they didn't keep up to well with the trend and movement of body positivity and including all shapes and sizes. Rather they stuck to the branding that has been working for them for the past few years which is sexy, playful, and mysterious. That's my guess would be super interested in hearing about the marketing research behind the fall of this company as it was so popular while I was growing up!

Well I loved Victoria Secret. I used to spend million of pounds inside there but I think we are not following Bocconi study cases. More than once they stated that the idea of Abercrombie is nice but that the kind of perfume and music at high volume within that shops were too strong. That鈥檚 why I think that Victoria Secret should take more into account this while designing their stores in London and New York City.

It's December! The time for reflection and set-up of new objectives. While I like the concept of noting down your New Year's resolutions, too often I hear vaguely defined sentences, which I doubt help people to achieve more. I believe that New Year's resolutions shouldn't be a long list of actions you want to do, but rather a few personal breakthroughs which will stretch you. An interesting read about how change is changing by BCG based on their experience in driving organizational transformations. I especially liked their insights about 5 different strategies to drive change: 馃搷A planned itinerary - clear goals and steps on how to get there. 馃搷A river crossing - a clear goal, but a path is unknown. 馃搷A hill-climbing - means for change are clear, but not the goal. 馃搷Scouting and wandering - neither the goals, neither the means are clear, but you want to find the next business breakthrough. 馃搷Escape the swamp - a clear need to change fast and substantially.
