THE book I would recommend to absolutely everyone at any stage of your life! Shirzam Chamine, the author of ‘Positive Intelligence’, talks about 10 different mental Saboteurs which we develop early in childhood to survive the perceived threats of life. By the time we are adults, we no longer need those Saboteurs, but they have become invisible inhabitants of our minds, causing harm to achieve our true potential. So how to fight those Saboteurs? The answer is always the same - by activating your Sage powers: - Empathy - Exploration - Innovation - Navigation - Decisive action What was your favorite summer read?

Thanks, my favorite summer read was " Dale Carnegie - how to overcome stress.. " the title is way to cheesy for the content. The real reason why you should never judge a book by its cover. To me it was and it is still a Life diary where I can find help in the low times

I see we have a "big elephant" in the room. More and more studies highlight increasing employee engagement issues. While there are many ways on how to address it, both from an employer and employee perspective, I would like to talk about potential career break benefits. Last year I went through this journey myself. It was not an easy decision. Leaving a nice and secure job, a respective company to jump into the unknown; volunteering in rural Uganda with women. A career break can be tough, but one thing’s for sure; you learn a lot and come back a bit different. If you have some similar thoughts such as; What is my purpose? Why do I do what I do? Where am I going? If you answered any of those questions with “yes”, I’d I like to invite you to read my blog post where I share how I experienced my own career break. https://nainyte.com/2019/personal-development/3-reasons-why-you-should-not-be-afraid-to-take-a-career-break/

Recently I attended a super insightful Women in Tech 2020 conference which united together so many inspiring women from all over the world. Even though recording videos is so out of my comfort zone, I decided to do it by sharing my key takeways in 2 minutes.

What a great initiative from Catalyst organization to increase our awareness about gender biases at the workplace which influences women careers. Studies have shown that indeed women who portray the same behaviors as men are perceived differently. 👉 Catalyst website to generate your photo with words which resonate the most with you. This is also available for men! https://www.catalyst.org/biascorrect/
