During my Economics studies at ISM, I wrote a thesis on Lithuanian GDP of the year 1937, becoming the first-ever person to make such estimates about interwar Lithuania. I have received an award from the Lithuanian Academy of Science, and my work got published at one of the top economic history magazines, "Cliometrica". Today, my goal is to acquire a master's degree in Economic and Social History at the University of Oxford and share my knowledge with students in Lithuania.
I want to continue my work on Lithuanian GDP during the remaining interwar years. It could become the foundation for the economic history discipline in Lithuania.
