I have written and published two novels: Neišsipildymas and Stasys Šaltoka: Vieneri Metai which is translated into English under the title Cold East.
Two years ago me and Justas Janauskas came up with the idea for online community which later turned into Qoorio.
Whatever it is I'm doing - I try to do it wholeheartedly, bringing a splash of light and love into every little action that I take. My life after school as well as the path of studies is slightly different from the rest: upon high school graduation I realized I was not 100% sure of the further direction I want to take. So I took a gap year. To use it wisely, I decided to completely step out of my comfort zone and off I went to the unknown land of Australia. There, I probably tried every single possible unqualified job under the sun: from washing cars and toilets to making beds and serving food, but it made me realize a plethora of things, among which one is the most important: the happiness we're all seeking is here and now. After such 8 illuminating months I've came back and started studying a double major: Catholic Theology & Public Communication, which I'm still tackling at the moment. You can also find me @ Jaunimo kelionės, where I'm happily advising young souls and seeing them off to Work and Travel USA adventures of their lifes!
DARING TO CHOOSE OFF-THE-BEATEN PATH.
From choosing to study theology to taking a year off after highschool, in order to explore myself and the world a little - I'd love to share my experience of how to do things that matter to you, even when no one else understands.
VOLUNTEERING.
From volunteering at Caritas to Kaunas Solitary Confinement - I'd be happy to tell you what I've learned and gained. Spoiler alert: it's a lot more than I've given.
TRAVELLING ON A BUDGET.
I've been in situations where I'm on the other side of the globe, with $3 dollars in my bank account, due to purchasing a substantial amount of plane tickets the day before and a barely existing plan of how am I to return home. Let me kill any bias you may cherish that travelling requires a lot of money. It certainly doesn't - let's browse plane tickets together!
Having grown up in the USA and UK, I developed a knack for seeing the world early.
Nowadays, balancing a full-time career in Lithuania, my husband & I have chosen to commit to travelling at least every 2 months!
Taking long-haul trips (mostly Asia & the Middle East) 2/per year and going smaller in between.
We started OFTEN OUT OF OFFICE blog to share our experiences on the destinations we’ve been to and travelled and to help others plan their own travels and see the world independently.
We build free online destination guides on our blog, but are more than happy to share more personal tips with people who are planning an upcoming holiday or are looking for inspo on where to go next.

Author of eight bestselling books (travel, food and human habits), a columnist and a food and fragrance critic. Having spent 17 years in UK with the BBC, and an extensive travel worldwide, I now divide my time between Vilnius and Los Angeles, California.
Life is not about who has most options - we all have more than we need - but about who makes the best choices. Choosing right is the most valuable commodity.
The areas that people want my opinion most:
1. Travel - cities, countries and places to eat. Booking AirBnB, hotels, rental cars. Routes and itineraries.
2. Anything and everything about Los Angeles and Southern California.
3. Where to eat.
4. Relationship and situation advice: asshole coworker, problematic parents, toxic siblings. I am not a therapist but I give my view and suggest how you should proceed further with a professional.
5. Writing and getting published.
6. How to fly your pet with you internationally.
7. Choosing fragrances and loving what you choose.
8. Beyond CV and job interview: getting the job you want because it is going to fit you and you will enjoy doing it.
9. Living your own life and seeing what is best for you. You take control of everything.
It’s easy to say that surfing has shaped my life since I was a kid and today I am exploring how surfing may become a tool in solving social issues: whether it’s water safety, depression and PTSD treatment, social inclusion or youth development.
Feel free to get in touch if you’re looking to discuss surfing, find inspiration for personal development, hear about full time travel experience or uncover creative ways to achieve your goals and bring impossible ideas to life.
And my Australian shepherd is the cutest, by the way.
Let me be straightforward. Some people call me a bully, a sociopath, or a narcissist. And I agree with them to some degree. I love to live always seeking perfection; thus, I may seem to be outstanding in the crowd. I work hard and, therefore, I play hard. I will always point out illogical decisions to the people even if they don't want to listen because that's the only way for us all to live in a world with more objectivity and less pretentious emotions. In my humble opinion (haha!), the best self is of a natural human nature kind.
Labas! Aš Ugnė. šiuo metu skaičiai - lengviausias būdas apie save trumpai papasakoti. man 22, o sąskaitoj - 58 apkeliautos šalys.
Be daug pinigų keliauti į svetimą kraštą nėra labai protinga? Bet visada suveikia, trust me!
Be kelionių - 15 metų užsiiminėju kovos menais, savanoriauju gyvūnų globos įstaigose ir auginu Ananasę - šuniuką, kurios garbei ir pavadinau savo blogą.
