I am currently an executive at Satalia, where I primarily focus on operations and product development. I co-founded a software development house DataDog in 2012, and served as a CEO until Satalia acquired Datadog in 2019.
I wear two hats - one as a geek and one as an entrepreneur. I have been involved in tech space since 2004, first as a developer and later as a hands-on manager, combining business development with a technical approach, data science and UX.
Alongside my day role, I advise and help businesses cut through hype and determine where AI can be introduced and embedded successfully, advocate for explainable and ethical AI and share my musings as industry speaker and blogger.
Everything that I've done to this day is led by the principle of leadership and aiming high. Upon acquiring Economics degree from Vilnius University, I've dipped my toes into talent management. This has taught me numerous communication and community building skills, which have come in extremely handy when I decided to switch to business development and operations. Having spent almost a decade of my career within the technology industry, I've realized that there are nowhere enough women in it and the situation needs to be shifted. That is exactly why I'm one of the co-founders of Women Go Tech mentorship initiative, which seeks to encourage women build their career in ICT and engineering. Not only has the project been patronized by the president of Lithuania - Dalia Grybauskaitė and supported by several international corporations, but it's also one of a kind here in Lithuania.
I am an energetic, truthful an hands-on HR professional who is passionate about people, culture and personal development 🤘🙂
Reach out to me with concrete questions that's on Your mind and let's see if I can help You find the answer :)
Having graduated from Stockholm School of Economics in Riga with a degree in Economics & Business back in 2013, I've dove head-first into the business industry and have been actively mastering the fields of digital marketing, financial models & startups ever since. Previously I've worked at such companies as NASDAQ, Ernst & Young, Google & HelloFresh, just to mention a few. Currently I'm creating my own digital marketing empire @ NomADomas, combining stellar business acumen with unique Google Ads know-how, gained at the original source itself.
Today, I am an investor who believes in entrepreneurship ideas and creative minds. Previously, I was the founder and managing director of Viltechmeda. Viltechmeda designs and produces syringe infusion pumps, intended to deliver drugs to the human body. We sold our pumps in more than 80 countries. In 2008 I sold the company to the US company Moog Inc.
Throughout my career, I have managed some different projects, startups, and enterprises, so I hope I know what it takes to successfully (and responsibly) compete in the business world. I am certain that technological advance will help us to build a better world. That said, I still think that ethical and kind relationships between people are the cornerstone of any business (and private life).
It’s easy to say that surfing has shaped my life since I was a kid and today I am exploring how surfing may become a tool in solving social issues: whether it’s water safety, depression and PTSD treatment, social inclusion or youth development.
Feel free to get in touch if you’re looking to discuss surfing, find inspiration for personal development, hear about full time travel experience or uncover creative ways to achieve your goals and bring impossible ideas to life.
And my Australian shepherd is the cutest, by the way.
