Life is not about who has most options - we all have more than we need - but about who makes the best choices. Choosing right is the most valuable commodity.
The areas that people want my opinion most:
1. Travel - cities, countries and places to eat. Booking AirBnB, hotels, rental cars. Routes and itineraries.
2. Anything and everything about Los Angeles and Southern California.
3. Where to eat.
4. Relationship and situation advice: asshole coworker, problematic parents, toxic siblings. I am not a therapist but I give my view and suggest how you should proceed further with a professional.
5. Writing and getting published.
6. How to fly your pet with you internationally.
7. Choosing fragrances and loving what you choose.
8. Beyond CV and job interview: getting the job you want because it is going to fit you and you will enjoy doing it.
9. Living your own life and seeing what is best for you. You take control of everything.
I have written and published two novels: Neišsipildymas and Stasys Šaltoka: Vieneri Metai which is translated into English under the title Cold East.
Two years ago me and Justas Janauskas came up with the idea for online community which later turned into Qoorio.

I’m in HR for more then 10 years & most of it working in IT. As well I’m mom of two adorable kids. My interests beside professional world goes around books, sport & traveling. My HR expertise vary from IT recruitment lifecycle, labour law to designing all employee experience in the company(including learning& development, comp&benefits, engagement, performance management etc.). Currently I’m mostly interested in to agile HR and disruptive HR topics, as change pace in last years becomes faster and faster. As human beings we are keen to develop, create, invent & discover new horizons. What’s good enough today might be not good enough tomorrow already. Agile for me is not set of tools, it’s more way of thinking. HR is not about methods and tools as well, it’s rather about people. I want to share one quotation from the book written by Pia-Maria Thoren “Agile people” with insights about future organizations: "Laloux turned his attention to the organisations of the future, which are teal.
<..> Since they are just evolving now, we don't know exactly what the characteristics are, but it looks like they will be primarily self-organizing, decentralized networks <...>"
"The central question in teal organizations is, how we can find a purpose that changes and develops us? Life and work are integrated. They focus on the whole person, instead of just the work persona. The number of hours that people actually spend at work or doing work is not as important as the amount of time that people spend developing themselves and becoming better. Employees are more accountable to their colleagues then they are to a department head or a manager. Peer pressure is a powerful motivator in both teal and Agile organizations”.
I was a frequent bussiness traveller in and out, I get to know how to snatch good travel/hotel deal. Oh yeah, don’t forget the good food along the travel journey. Buzz me if you’re planning across West malaysia, Philippine, Vanuatu and some of SEA countries. Between, I’m good in conversation as I can get along with many topics. Life is too short to live being regret! Heads up, be happy :)
Having acquired a qualification of Economist and Lecturer in Political Economy back in the 80’s (in addition to a PhD in social science), I’ve started lecturing and writing columns for the biggest national newspaper „Lietuvos rytas“. Since then, I’ve continued working in journalism, as well as spent more than a decade brushing up my economic knowledge in the world of academia, in addition to spending a couple of years in the banking industry. In 2015 I was elected to the Vilnius City Council, which has led to yet another election, this time in a Parliament, after which I became a single-member district constituency of Žirmūnai.
For the last 8 years I work in ecommerce & software market. For the last 6 years I run SaaS startup. I can talk about both for hours!
However a huge passion a couple of times lead me to burnouts, what caused anxiety, relationship issues and more questions than answers. I think I coped with it quite sucessfully and would love to share this with other passionate people who think they might have a mental burnout.
